It features a single 15-pin D-sub connector that serves as both the input and output connector for laser diodes and TE modules. It maintains high stability in constant current mode, constant power mode, and modulation mode. The front panel's 12-turn trim pot allows for precise control of the set point and limit current. The independent current limiting function enables the setting of protection levels for the laser diode. Wavelength Electronics, based in the United States, manufactures and sells laser controllers and temperature controllers. Their low-noise drivers for quantum cascade lasers (QCL) and benchtop LD controllers and temperature controllers are adopted by various universities and research institutes.
